RAMDC and RAMB Pursuing Merger
Announcing: RAMDC and RAMB Pursuing Merger
The REALTOR® Associations of Greater Miami and the Beaches (RAMB) and the REALTOR® Association of Miami-Dade County (RAMDC) are proud to announce that they are currently pursuing a merger into one association. This merger would unite two of the largest and most influential REALTOR® associations in the United States and create a 21,500 + member association, the 3rd largest in the nation.
A joint committee from both organizations, the Merger Committee, was established and met last week and voted unanimously to merge our two organizations. This committee will now serve as the "Transition Committee.” Special thanks to these 13 RAMB/RAMDC Leaders who will lead the transition for this important merger (Merger Committee, now Transition Committee):
| Co-chairs: | Terri Bersach and | Victor Ulloa |
| Patricia Delinois | Ralph De Martino | |
| Norka Diaz | Betty Gonzalez | |
| Jack Levine | Ron Kohn | |
| Rei Mesa | Martha Pomares | |
| Ernesto Vega | Oliver Ruiz | |

Together, RAMB and RAMDC are uniquely positioned to provide South Florida REALTORS® with the most comprehensive and leading edge real estate marketing tools and services available.
What does this merger mean for you?
- A broader and deeper range of marketing tools to meet your real estate business needs.
- A commitment to innovation, ensuring your next-generation technology solutions.
- Greater support and resources available locally and internationally
Our goal is to continue delivering innovative, high-quality marketing tools and services in the South Florida market. To accomplish this, we will continue with our established leading edge products and services while simultaneously exploring opportunities to provide you with new and additional next-generation solutions and increased value for your membership.
Although RAMB and RAMDC have separate histories, we have always shared a common objective: to ensure absolute member satisfaction…our members are our Number One Priority. We remain dedicated to this objective as we pursue operating as one combined powerful association.
The depth of our resources and the breadth of our reach would be stronger than ever. We take great pride in our reputations as national or internationally recognized associations that create business opportunities for our members locally, nationally and around the world.
Rest assured that the association merger and consolidation of services would cause no disruption to your member services and we will keep you updated on our merger progress.
We are currently working diligently on completing all steps required for the merger. We hope to bring this to a vote of our respective memberships before the end of July and we would like for the merger to be effective on August 1, 2010. Watch for more information and details.
We will continue working hard to not only meet, but to exceed your expectations, and the entire leadership and staff at RAMB and RAMDC want to personally thank you for your loyalty, support and most of all…for being our member.
Enthusiastically,
| Victor Ulloa, RAMDC President of the Board | Terri Bersach, RAMB Chairman of the Board |
